2 year olds are PRECIOUS!

Ok, so, everyone talks about the "terrible twos"....I don't think 2 year olds are terrible! They are sometimes hard to deal with, but they are too adorable to say they are terrible! ha! For example, today one of my most precious and cute boys in my class said the cutest thing to me....He is one of my first kids to arrive in the morning, so usually he comes in and crawls in my lap to hang out until his other buddies get there. So, today he climbed in my lap and said "I missed you, Ms. Sara Beth" and I smiled and said, "Where did I go?" (kind of confused and wondering if he knew exactly what he had said) and he responded with a simple "To your home, I'm glad you're back". I about cried right there. How sweet and innocent. What could be better than that? NOTHING! (other than hearing it from my own child) Being a 2 year old preschool teacher is hard, but THAT is exactly why I love my job. Precious little gifts from God that I love:)

Mail!

So, we sent out our Save-The-Dates the other day and we are so happy to be finding out that people have gotten them! We hope you like them!:) I love them, myself! Also, if you ever need to order Wedding Invites or anything of that nature, go to Baggie Goose in Biltmore Village in Asheville! They are so great to work with and have some of the greatest paper products ever! Highly recommended!:) We hope you like them! These Save-The-Dates are definitely one of my 'little joys'. :)

Just the beginning!

As you can tell, I am pretty new to this whole blog thing! So, be sure to be patient! But I am super excited about this!

So, to all of you current 'bloggers', please help me get started! Any advice is welcome!

So...I guess I will start with my life after graduating from college. (Last May) Basically, since my degree is in Applied Psychology and Sociology, I was screwed getting a job. Ha! No, but really, I can't really do anything in my 'field' until/IF I get my masters. So, right now I am teaching Preschool at FB Child Development Center in Asheville, NC. I have a class of eleven 2 year olds...and they sure do keep me busy! (Not to mention they say and do the most precious and funny things ever!) I am really LOVING my job right now! It's so challenging...believe it or not! It is like training to be a Mom, which is kinda cool!

I am getting married to the precious Matt Burns on July 11th of next summer. Crazy, huh?!? We are so excited and cannot wait to start our married lives together! Once he graduates from Carson Newman in May of 09, he will move back to Asheville and work at T.P. Howard's plumbing, which he is really excited about! The Lord has been so faithful to us and we are thankful for it! And we are sooo looking forward to seeing what He is going to do in our lives.

My sister, Jenna, and I moved into an apartment together in September and it is totally fun! Come visit us!:) We just decorated our apartment for Christmas and it is ohhhh so cute!:) I just love the Christmas season! I'm pretty sure I got in the 'Christmas spirit' like a month ago...ha! I can't help it!

Well, I might want to close this first entry before it becomes a long and boring novel...:)

P.S. Don't forget to help me with this whole blogging thing, current bloggers. I am a bit computer-challenged!:)
